This past weekend, DC was hit hard with a huge snow storm ... 24-36 inches! It started out on Friday afternoon and went on throughout the night and did not stop until Saturday evening! My sincere apologies goes out to my customers who placed orders on Friday. I was hugely disappointed when I trekked over to the post office on Friday afternoon to drop off orders only to find it closed early! (*big frown). No worries, I will be delivering orders first thing Monday morning.
So what to do when it snows like crazy? To prevent cabin fever, my sis + bf and my fiance and I decided to voyage around the city with the puppies making stops at a few key places: 1. 7-eleven for hot dogs w/ the works and hot chocolate (our pups had a hot dog w/out the works :)) 2. doggy park, so that mia + kobi can play and enjoy the snow ... bullying a dog or two and posing for a few pics ... and lastly, 3. sno-ffiti a snow man (not my idea).
To those who experienced DC's storm this past weekend, be sure to stay warm, have fun in the snow ... and of course, be safe!
